Dave McCann Luncheon September 21st, 2017
Dave McCann co-anchors KSL News at 6 and 10 pm. He also calls play-by-play for BYU football and basketball games and hosts a variety of programs televised worldwide on BYUtv.
Dave spent nearly 20 years working at KLAS-TV in Las Vegas where he anchored sports for 14 years and most recently worked as morning co-anchor. In addition, he served as play-by-play voice for UNLV football for 14 seasons and wrote regularly for the Las Vegas Review Journal.
During his senior year at BYU, McCann was hired as a reporter for ABC's Good Morning America and covered college-related topics from around the country.
Dave is the third oldest of ten children born to Andrea and the late Dale R. McCann. He grew up in Orem, graduated from Orem High School and served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to San Antonio, Texas.
Dave's away-from-work interests include "anything and everything" with family. He has five children, two of which attend Utah State University in Logan.

Mark Eubank Luncheon September 25th, 2014
Mark Eubank is the former chief broadcasting meteorologist for KSL TV in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mark joined the KSL-TV channel 5 Television news team in 1990. Prior to KSL, he was employed as a meteorologist for KUTV channel 2 in Utah, a position he held since 1967. Eubank began his meteorology career at age 24 in Redding, California, at KRCR-TV. Mark also served as chief meteorologist for the 2002 Winter Olympics. He attended UCLA and graduated from the University of Utah in 1972 with a Bachelors of Science in Meteorology. Eubank also owned and operated a weather consulting firm, WeatherBank, Inc. for 20 years.
On November 29, 2006, Mark signed off the air for the final time. He passed his job and white coat to his son Kevin Eubank. Shortly after retiring, Mark and his wife served two missions for the LDS Church; first they served a one year mission in St. George, Utah and then at the Laie Hawaii temple visitors center for three years where Mark served as the director of the visitors center.

Eric Pedersen is the current Dean of the School of Science & Technology at Dixie State University. Eric has served as a faculty member in the Computer and Information Technology Department at Dixie State University since 1989 and teaches courses on web development and tech entrepreneurship at DSU. Pedersen has also held numerous leadership roles on campus as he was director of the institution's business and development resource center from 1989-94, director of the center of excellence for computer graphics, and served as dean of continuing education at Dixie State from 1994-97. Eric received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems at Utah State University and has conducted extensive work in tech entrepreneurship. He also holds degrees in Business, Economics and Spanish. Scott Petersen is currently the Managing Director for the Rollins Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology in the Marriott School of Management at BYU. He also serves as a board director to Health & Benefit Systems, one of the largest voluntary benefits companies for large corporations and hospitals in the country; APU Solutions, the market leader for salvage and alternative parts for the automotive industry; and at Millenniata, a technology company that specializes in archival and long term data storage. Scott is a long time entrepreneur, having harvested three businesses in addition to founding or partnering in his current businesses. Robert Spendlove Luncheon April 30th, 2015
Robert is a Senior Vice President and the Economic and Public Policy Officer for Zions Bank. In this capacity he monitors and reports on economic indicators and public policy developments for the bank. Founded in 1873, Zions Bank is Utah's oldest financial institution and it operates locations in communities throughout Utah and the Intermountain West.
Robert's research interests are primarily in the areas of macroeconomics, demographics, financial markets and public policy. He frequently gives economic presentations to a variety of civic, educational and business groups.
Robert also serves in the Utah House of Representatives, where he was elected in January 2014. He proudly represents District 49 in the Legislature, covering parts of Sandy and Cottonwood Heights cities. He is the Vice Chair of the Health and Human Services Committee. He also sits on the Economic Development and Workforce Services Committee, and the Social Services Appropriations Committee.
Robert formerly worked as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Federal Relations to the Utah Governor's Office, where he advised Governors on a variety of policy issues and assisted in the development and implementation of the public policy agenda. Robert also served as the Washington, DC representative for the Governor’s Office, acting as a liaison between the State of Utah and a variety of multi-state and federal organizations, as well as Congress, federal agencies, and the White House.
His previous experience includes time as the Governor's Chief Economist and the State Demographer, where he served as the Chair of the Governor's Council of Economic Advisers, Chair of the Utah Population Estimates Committee, and President of the Wasatch Front Economic Forum.
Robert received a Master’s of Public Administration with an emphasis in economic public policy at the University of Utah, where he is currently an adjunct instructor of public policy.

Rondo Fehlberg is an independent business and legal consultant. Mr. Fehlberg is a licensed attorney who has spent much of his career in developing and managing new businesses. Prior to his current practice, Mr. Fehlberg held a variety of positions in sports administration, corporate management, international negotiations and law. From 1995 to 1999, he was Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics at Brigham Young University. He also spent a year as Executive Director of Olympic Aid USA in connection with the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games and served as Vice President of the Utah Olympic Parks. From 1985 to 1995, Mr. Fehlberg held management positions at Standard Oil, British Petroleum and Pennzoil in Denver, Houston, and London, most recently as Vice President of International New Business for Pennzoil. In these positions he directed the negotiation of a number of major international transactions with present values worth several billion dollars. From 1979 to 1985, Mr. Fehlberg practiced law with the Denver law firm of Davis Graham and Stubbs and served as in-house counsel to Standard Oil Company and British Petroleum. Lyman Hafen is a native of St. George, Utah. He grew up on the southern edge of what was then a small town and as a boy developed a strong sense of place roaming the broken landscape and listening to the stories his father told.
He became a horseman on the family ranch in Clover Valley, Nevada, and was the 1973 Utah State High School Rodeo All Around Champion. He graduated from Dixie High School in 1973, and Dixie College, where he was also a member of the rodeo team, in 1977.
He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Argentina from 1974-76. In 1977, he married Debbie Frei of Santa Clara, Utah. Debbie has been a violin teacher and member of the Southwest Symphony since 1983. They have six children and 14 grandchildren.
Lyman graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications in 1979. Since 1980, he has been a writer, editor, publisher, and active volunteer in community, state and national organizations. He was co-founder of St. George Magazine in 1983, and was its editor for 16 years. He continues to write a monthly column for the magazine chronicling the history, culture and personality of his fast-changing hometown.
He has written twelve books of fiction and nonfiction and his writing has been honored on several occasions by the Utah Arts Council. He has written and directed three documentary films. He was appointed by Governor Jon Huntsman to the board of directors of the Utah Arts Council. Over the years he has written numerous articles for regional and national publications, and has served as publisher of important books including Portraits of Loss – Stories of Hope, which sparked the multi-million-dollar fundraising effort for victims of the 2005 Santa Clara-Virgin River Flood.
Since 1998, he has served as executive director of Zion Natural History Association in Zion National Park. He founded the Zion Canyon Field Institute in 2003, and the Zion National Park Foundation in 2007...

Fraser Bullock is Co-founder of Sorenson Capital, a private equity firm with over $1 billion in assets under management. He began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company and then as a partner in the formation at Bain Capital. He currently serves on the Boards of DOMO, Bamboo HR, and Health Catalyst as Chairman. He was previously Chairman of Omniture prior its sale to Adobe.
Brother Bullock served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City. He continues to be active in the Olympic movement, having served as an advisor to the International Olympic Committee, the U.S. Olympic Committee and to several Olympic cities, including Torino, Italy, Vancouver, Canada, Sochi, Russia and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. For his Olympic service, he was awarded the Olympic Order in Gold.
In his Church service, Brother Bullock serves as Chairman of the Board of the Polynesian Cultural Center and as Chairman of DMBA. He served as a member of the Board of the Perpetual Education Fund and as an advisor to Deseret Management Corporation.
Brother Bullock served as a member of the 5th Quorum of the Seventy from 2002 to 2011. Previously, he served as Bishop, Bishop’s Counselor, High Counselor, Young Men’s President, Elders’ Quorum President, Scoutmaster and full-time missionary in the Bolivia mission.
Brother Bullock received a Bachelor’s degree in economics and a Masters in Business Administration, both from BYU.
He lives with his wife Jennifer in Highland, Utah and they are the parents of 5 children and 8 grandchildren. His favorite activities are skiing and visiting Hawaii...
